About NACCSOL

The National Coalition of Civil Society Organizations of Liberia (NACCSOL) is a membership-based platform uniting over 60 Liberian civil society groups. As a collective voice, NACCSOL champions transparency, accountability, and inclusive development across all counties.  

Vision

NACCSOL envisions a Liberia where citizens actively engage in shaping policies, governance, and sustainable development.  

Our mission is to strengthen civil society’s contribution to democratic governance by:  

– Promoting citizen participation in decision-making processes  

– Advocating for policy reforms that uphold human rights and social justice  

– Facilitating partnerships between communities, government, and development partners

Program Areas

NACCSOL implements programs across key thematic areas:  

– Governance and Accountability: Budget tracking, anti-corruption campaigns, civic forums  

– Peacebuilding and Security: Community mediation, early warning networks, security sector reform  

– Gender Equality and Social Inclusion: Women’s rights advocacy, youth leadership development  

– Environmental Stewardship: Climate resilience training, natural resource governance
